Abstract

Secondary abstract: Slovenian language is a value that today seem obvious and it's most people's means of communication. In this thesis, we reasoned that the Slovenian language is really a means of communication, but it is the language which we have trained for throughout the educational process, because we only placed in the cradle native language, which is part of the Slovenian language. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is based on literature genre presented the Slovenian language, in the empirical part, with the help of a questionnaire made real use of language genres in selected basic school pupils last triennium. Students, which participated in the empirical work have shown that the dialect maintains, and its usage is alive and that the extinction of dialects is absolutely impossible. Students at home with their family, peers and fellow townsmen with their peers talk in the local dialect speech. In school desks and wherever it is necessary, depending on the language situation, they use written language. Slovenian language has many forms, demonstrated by teenage slang language. The surveyed students at a primary school BK in last triennium have a very positive attitude towards local speech, because it or consciously kept and are proud of, or in addition to their local dialects they like to listen to others. What it is right, because both acquire new knowledge.
