Primerjava orodij Modelio in Intalio

Abstract

Podjetja si pri modeliranju poslovnih procesov lahko pomagajo z orodji za modeliranje tovrstnih procesov. Ker na trgu obstaja veliko število orodij, smo želeli podjetjem, predvsem majhnim in srednje velikim, olajšati izbiro orodja za modeliranje procesov po notaciji BPMN. Diplomsko delo se osredotoča na primerjavo dveh različnih orodij za modeliranje poslovnih procesov po notaciji BPMN. Na eni strani imamo brezplačno oziroma odprtokodno orodje Modelio Free edition in na drugi strani komercialno orodje Intalio|bpms EE. S SWOT-analizo smo ugotovili, da imata obe orodji tako prednosti in slabosti kot tudi priložnosti in nevarnosti. Ker smo se v diplomskem delu postavili v vlogo majhnega oziroma srednje velikega podjetja, smo ugotovili, da je zanj najprimernejše brezplačno oziroma odprtokodno orodje Modelio Free edition.

Secondary abstract:	With business process modeling tools companies can help themselves in business process modelling. Since there are many tools on the market, we wanted to facilitate for companies, especially small or medium-sized, the selection of business process modeling tools by BPMN notation. The thesis is focused on the comparison of two different tools for business processes modeling by BPMN notation. There is a free and open source tool Modelio Free edition on one side; and on the other side there is a commercial tool Intalio\|bpms EE. The SWOT analysis showed that both tools have its strengths and weaknesses, as well as opportunities and threats. We put ourselves in the role of small or medium-sized company and we came to conclusion that free and open source tool Modelio Free edition is the most appropriate for it.
