Repertoarne smernice baleta SNG Maribor in vključevanje modernega plesa Edwarda Cluga

Abstract

V prvem delu diplomske naloge je predstavljena zgodovina in razvoj klasičnega baleta ter sodobnega plesa v svetu in v Sloveniji. Opisane so pomembnejše predstave, skladatelji, glasba, koreografi, plesalci in umetniški vodje, ki so zaznamovali balet in prispevali k njegovemu razvoju. V drugem delu sledi predstavitev Slovenskega narodnega gledališča Maribor in podrobnejši pregled njegovega baletnega repertoarja. V navezi s tem je v nadaljevanju predstavljen koreograf Edward Clug in njegove koreografije, ki jih je ustvaril za SNG Maribor. Predstavljen je njegov pogled in dojemanje ustvarjenih kreacij v primerjavi z mnenji kritikov in občinstva. V diplomski naloga so metodološko uporabljeni trije vidiki; zgodovinska analiza, raziskava sekundarnih virov in raziskava primarnih virov. Pomembni so za popis baletnega repertoarja SNG Maribor in za raziskavo predstav, koreografij plesalca in koreografa Edwarda Cluga.

Secondary abstract:	There is history and development of classical ballet and modern dancing in the world and in Slovenia presented in the first part of the diploma thesis. There are more important performances, composers, music, choreographers, dancers, and artistic leaders presented who marked ballet and contributed to its development. The second part follows with the presentation of the Slovene National Theatre (SNT) Maribor (and more detailed analysis of its ballet repertoire. In connection with this, there is Edward Clug and his choreographies presented, which he has created for SNT Maribor in the continuation. His perspective and perception of the made creations in connection with the opinions of critics and audience have been presented. There are three perspectives presented in the diploma thesis: historical analysis, the research of secondary sources, and the research of primary sources. They are important for survey of the ballet repertoire of SNT Maribor and for the research of the performances, choreographies of the dancer and choreographer Edward Clug.
