Abstract

Secondary title: INTEGRATION OF COMPANY INTRANETS WITH EMPHASIS ON USER EXPERIENCE
Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis presents how to deal with the problem of combining several intranets in a company with more than ten thousand employees. First, we present the intranet history and how important is intranet within the company. We then present the issue of disaggregated intranets in an enterprise environment and how to migrate them into a single global intranet based on SharePoint 2013. We propose the migration procedures and the actual course of the migration as well. The results of migrations are presented as well as the emergence of a new intranet through this process. Throughout the study, we illustrate the importance of communication with users during the course of the migration to successfully complete the project and consequently reduce the company’s costs.
