Abstract

Pouk kemije lahko poteka na več načinov. Velikokrat pouk kemije sloni na eksperimentalnem delu, ki je lahko demonstracijski eksperiment ali eksperimentalno delo učencev. Samo eksperimentalno delo pa je lahko uporabljeno tudi v različnih stopnjah ure. Lahko služi kot motivacijsko sredstvo v uvodu v uro ali kot sredstvo za pridobivanje novega znanja v osrednjem delu učne ure. Eksperimentalno delo učencev se pri pouku uporablja manj pogosto. Največkrat je vzrok za to pomanjkanje časa in materiala. Če pa se učitelji že lotijo eksperimentalnega dela učencev, le-to poteka v skupinah in po že v naprej pripravljenih delovnih listih. Delo v skupinah dijakom nudi različne možnosti, tudi učenje prilagajanja, komuniciranja in odgovornosti. Takšnemu delu ali učenju pravimo sodelovalno učenje. Sodobni trendi izobraževanja, ki so jim sledili s projektom PROFILES, so spodbuda učiteljem, da bi večkrat načrtovali in vodili dijake k samostojnemu načrtovanju eksperimenta. Tovrstne spretnosti in kompetence so po Bloomovi taksonomiji uvrščena v najvišji nivo znanja - sintezo. Namen magistrskega dela je ugotoviti stanje na področju samostojnega načrtovanja eksperimentalnega dela dijakov s preprostimi nalogami s področja dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na hitrost kemijskih reakcij. Z izvedbo pred- in potesta smo preverjali znanje dveh razredov dijakov na izbrani srednji šoli o dejavnikih, ki vplivajo na hitrost kemijskih reakcij in spremljali smo njihovo sodelovalno delo pri skupinskem načrtovanju eksperimentalnega dela. Ugotovili smo, da je teoretično znanje dijakov zadovoljivo, da dobro sledijo v naprej pripravljenim navodilom za delo, ki ga je načrtoval učitelj, večje težave pa se pojavijo pri samostojnem razmisleku ob zadanem problemu in načrtovanju eksperimentalnega dela.

Secondary title: Problem-based Experimental Work by Chemical Kinetics
Secondary abstract: Chemistry classes can be held in different ways. Many times, lessons are based on experimental work: either a demonstrative experiment or the experimental work of pupils. The experimental work alone can be used in different stages of a lesson. It can serve as motivation in the beginning of a lesson, or as a means of acquiring new knowledge in the focal part of a lesson. The experimental work of pupils is used less frequently in classes; the reasons for this are mainly attributed to a lack of time and resources. When teachers take on the experimental work of pupils, it is conducted in groups and realized with worksheets prepared in advance. Working in gropus offers pupils various possibilites, learning how to adapt, communicate and take on responisbilities. This form of work is called collaborative learning. Modern trends in education, employed by the PROFILES project, act as motivation for teachers to lead pupils to plan experiments individually. Skills and competences as such are ranged in the highest level of knowledge - synthesis in Bloom's taxonomy. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the conditions of individual planning of the experiemental work of pupils with simple tasks in the area of factors that influence the speed of chemical reactions. By performing pre- and after tests we evaluated the knowledge of two classes of high school pupils on factors that determine the speed of chemical reactions, while we observed their team work on designing experimental work. We reached a conclusion that the pupils' theoretical knowledge is sufficient and that they follow the instructions for work, designed by the teacher. Larger problems occur in individual deliberation of the specified problem and in planning experimental work.
