Abstract

V magistrski nalogi bomo primerjali različne tipe semaforiziranih križišč po dveh merilih, in sicer po površini, ki jo zajemajo, in pretočnosti, ki jo zagotavljajo. Različni tipi semaforiziranih križišč so opisani glede na njihovo geometrijo, prednosti in pomanjkljivosti ter namen oziroma glede na to, v katerih primerih se posamezni tip križišča uporablja. Cilj naloge je s primerjavo površine in pretočnosti teh križišč pridobiti najboljše projektne rešitve za določena križišča ter primerjati obstoječa, že znana semaforizirana križišča z novimi, inovativnimi rešitvami.

Secondary abstract: In this thesis, we will compare different types of signalized intersections according to two criteria; the area used by signalized intersections, and the quantity of traffic flow provided by individual signalized intersections. This Master thesis describes different types of signalized intersections with their geometry, advantages and shortcoming, their purpose, and when they are used. The purpose of the thesis is to acquire best project solutions for specific intersections by comparing areas that different types of signalized intersections cover and the quantity of traffic flow they provide and to compare existing, familiar intersections with new, innovative solutions.
