Abstract

Secondary title: Validation of calculation model for evaluation of environmental noise with measurements in real conditions
Secondary abstract: Evaluation of noise exposure may be provided on the basis of measurements of noise or by using 3D acoustic model, by using computational methods. The master’s thesis deals with a description of calculation methods for industrial noise sources, based on the method specified in the standard SIST ISO 9613-2, methods of measurement of environmental noise calculation and comparison of noise levels obtained by using calculation method and measurements in real conditions, assessment of calculation uncertainty and measurement uncertainty of the measurements performed. 3D acoustic model was created by using a program LimA, version 9.12, developed by Stapelfeldt Ingenieuergesellschaft GmbH. In conclusion we present the validation of the calculation model of industrial noise sources with detailed analysis and calculation of measurement uncertainty, and analysis of results.
