Abstract

V diplomskem delu je opisan postopek za izdelavo večigralske igre na omrežnem in logičnem nivoju. Izpostavljene so težave, ki nastanejo pri sinhronizaciji igralnih objektov s serverjem in odjemalcem, pomembnost dobre uporabniške izkušnje. Vključeni sta načrtovanje projektov in porazdelitev dela; primerjana so različna orodja za razvoj iger, katerih cilj primerjave je izbira najprimernejšega orodja glede na naše potrebe.

Secondary abstract: The thesis describes the process of creating a multiplayer game at the network and logic level. It points to the issues arising during synchronisation of game objects with the server and the client and discusses the importance of a positive user experience. Moreover, it touches on the planning of projects and work distribution and compares various game development tools in order to determine the most appropriate tool for this purpose.
