Secondary abstract: | In this thesis the impact of the joint between the rib and the root of the heat exchanger is analysed. The results are obtained using numerical simulation. The reduction of rib heat flow is obtained for several types of adhesives and various glue thicknesses. The results are compared with a case where the rib is an integral part of the heat exchanger without contact resistance. |
