diplomsko delo
Denis Ibrahimović (Author), Marjan Leber (Mentor)

Abstract

Nova Gorica. Podjetje izdeluje jeklene konstrukcije in druge podobne izdelke.

Secondary title: Steel structures production process optimization
Secondary abstract: The content of diploma thesis deals with measures affecting organizational changes of the production process in order to improve performance in a timeframe reducing costs of the process and in result increasing profit to the company. The production process observed and discussed in the thesis refers to direct examples of ongoing projects done by the company Varmont l.l.c. Nova Gorica. The company produces steel structures and other similar products. Since in this case, we are talking mainly about unique (non-serial) products, it is important to note that in order to achieve optimized production of such products it requires a different approach then it does in case of mass production. Through the content of thesis it is clear that such production has less available solutions to achieve optimal results. For this reason, it is important to break down the entire manufacturing process and find out the possibility of applying an individual solution, which ultimately forms a successful whole.
