Abstract

V diplomskem delu obravnavamo učinke prehoda z enostopenjskega na dvostopenjsko cepljenje na mikrostrukturne in mehanske lastnosti sive litine s kroglastim grafitom. Cilj spremembe je bil zmanjšati količino porabljenih cepiv in na ta način zagotoviti stroškovno učinkovitejšo proizvodnjo ob istočasni ohranitvi mikrostrukturnih in mehanskih lastnosti. Mikrostrukturne lastnosti smo ugotavljali z optično metalografsko analizo in avtomatično grafično analizo grafita. Mehanske lastnosti smo ugotavljali z nateznim preizkusom.

Secondary title: Characterisation of the effects of changes of inoculation procedure of the mechanical properties and microstructure of cast iron with spheroidal graphite
Secondary abstract: The aim of our thesis was to examine the effects of changing an inoculation procedure from one step inoculation to two step inoculation on mechanical and microstructure properties of grey iron with spehriodal graphite. The change was aimed at reducing the quantity of consumed inoculants to achieve production cost efficiency and at same time to preserve mechanical and microstructure properties of produced grey iron. Microstructure properties were tested with optical metalographical analysis and with graphical analysis of graphite. Mechanical properties were tested with tensile test. Despite a lower consumption it was found that changing the one-step inoculation procedure to two-step inoculation did not deviate from the current results.
