diplomsko delo visokošolskega študijskega programa
Abstract
Diplomsko delo predstavlja analizo podatkov o dejavnikih prometnih nesreč v RS.

Data analysis on factors of traffic accidents in the Republic of Slovenia (2005-2015) |
Secondary abstract: |
The main cause of traffic accidents in Slovenia is unadjusted speed. Although the number of traffic accidnets decreases every year, the main cause remains the same. Other causes such as worse weather conditions, fast pace of life and stressful lives, also contribute to traffic accidents because they all affect the drivers' concetration and intolerance, which quickly results in traffic accidents.
Our research analyzed the data of factors connected to traffic accidents in the Republic of Slovenia. The analysis' results showed that unadjusted speed is the main cause of traffic accidents in the Republic of Slovenia. We analyzed the data for a period of ten years and presented the results with tables and charts. While researching data we noticed that the record of unadjusted speed the Slovenian Police holds is not as efficient as it should be, therefore we decided to make a comparison with two other countries – Croatia and Great Britain. We have compared the main causes of traffic accidents in these countries and the way they hold their records of unadjusted speed. At the end we made some suggestions to improve the management of records of traffic accidents and to reduce traffic accidents caused by unadjusted speed. |
