Abstract

Namen diplomske naloge je ugotoviti razgradljivost odpadnega jedilnega olja in njegov biometanski potencial. Za anaerobno presnovo smo najprej uporabili šaržno napravo Automatic Methane Potential Test System (AMPTS II). Z eksperimentom smo želeli ugotoviti pri katerem substratu ali kombinaciji substratov je biometanski potencial največji. V kontrolni reaktor smo dozirali le surovo blato in v vseh reaktorjih ustvarili enake pogoje kot na Centralni čistilni napravi Domžale – Kamnik. Rezultati so pokazali, da je produkcija metana v primerjavi s kontrolnim reaktorjem največja pri odpadnem jedilnem olju. Za primerjavo z realnim reaktorjem smo spremljali tudi delovanje anaerobnega reaktorja na CČN Domžale – Kamnik. Ugotovitev iz šaržnega eksperimenta, da je največja produkcija metana pri odpadnem jedilnem olju, smo želeli dokazati tudi na večjem, skoraj 200 L semi-kontinuirnem pilotnem reaktorju.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of this thesis is to research the decomposition of leftover cooking oil and biomethane potential. To determine the anaerobic digestion we first used batch device Automatic Methane Potential Test System (AMPTS II). The methane production was significantly different when we used just the leftover cooking oil compared to controlled reactor. The latter was dosed the primary sludge and we created the same conditions as they have in the central cleaning plant Domžale - Kamnik. To be able to compare it to the real reactor we monitored the function of the anaerobic reactor in CCP Domžale – Kamnik. We wanted to confirm the results obtained from the batch mode also on the bigger, almost 200L semi-continuous pilot reactor.
