Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela je bilo izdelati polnilnik, ki bo optimalno in varno polnil Li-ion akumalatorske baterije. Uvodoma so predstavljene polnilne baterije in podrobneje analizirane Li-ion baterije. Polnilnik smo zasnovali kot stikalni na podlagi regulatorja navzdol. Stikalo temelji na MOSFET tranzistorju, za nadzor napetosti pa je uporabljena impulzno širinska modulacija PWM. Predstavljene so prednosti in slabosti stikalne izvedbe. Jedro polnilnika je namensko integrirano vezje bq24257. Celotno vezje je izdelano v SMD tehniki. Polnilniku lahko preko računalnika nastavljamo in spremljamo vse bitne parametre. Na koncu smo preverili delovanje polnilnika z meritvami in prikazanimi rezultati.

Secondary title: SWITCHING POWER SUPPLY FOR OPTIMAL LI-ION BATERY CHARGING
Secondary abstract: The goal of this final work is to make a charger which will optimally and safely charge both Li-ion and storage batteries. In the introduction we present the chargeable batteries, while the detailed analysis encompasses the Li-ion battery. The charger is designed as a switch buck converter. The switch is based on a MOSFET transistor, while the voltage control uses pulse width modulation (PWM). The advantages, as well as drawback of the switch model are presented. The charger core consists of a purpose integrated chip bq24257, while the whole circuit has been made in SMD tehnology. All essential parameters of the charger can be both computer adjusted and monitored. Finally, certain measurements were made and the obtained results have been presented.
