Abstract

Secondary title: The development of a mobile application Drumming Companion App
Secondary abstract: The work describes the development process of a music themed app, which allows for creation and playback of rhyithmical melodies. The intention is to bring drumming to an audience, who would, otherwise, not bother with music theory and relatively complicated notation. In the development process, knowledge of machine learning, used for rhythmical melody creation from patterns, object oriented programming language Java for programming, creation of animation for support to the user interface and the technology for data exchange. The result is a music app, which does not require any prior music theory knowledge from the user.
