Abstract

V diplomski nalogi smo raziskovali vidike učitelja pri delu z učenci priseljenci. V teoretičnem delu smo proučili migracije in posledice, ki jih migracije prinašajo. Predstavili smo zakonske podlage in smernice za vključevanje otrok priseljencev v osnovno šolo ter pomen šole in strokovnih delavcev šole za učence priseljence. V empiričnem delu smo preverjali načine sporazumevanja z učenci priseljenci, poznavanje zakonskih ureditev, načine ocenjevanja znanja in uporabo učnih oblik dela pri delu z učenci priseljenci. Ugotavljali smo samooceno zaznav učiteljev pri delu z učenci priseljenci ter stopnjo soglašanja s predlogi za izboljšanje učnega uspeha učencev priseljencev. Pri tem nas je zanimal obstoj razlik med učitelji glede na delovno dobo poučevanja in stopnjo poučevanja. Temeljne ugotovitve kažejo, da se učitelji z učenci priseljenci najpogosteje sporazumevajo v slovenskem jeziku, da so učitelji po njihovem mnenju, seznanjeni z zakonskimi prilagoditvami. Učitelji uporabljajo različne oblike ocenjevanja znanja in učne oblike dela. Stališča učiteljev do učencev priseljencev so v večini pozitivno naravnana, kljub vsemu pa so učitelji izrazili, da jih učenci priseljenci spravljajo v dodaten stres, nekateri pa se tudi čutijo fizično ogrožene oziroma zaznavajo disciplinsko problematiko pri učencih priseljencih. Ugotovili smo tudi, da učitelji sodelujejo z drugimi strokovnimi sodelavci na različne načine in da imajo željo po dodatnih izpopolnjevanjih o delu z učenci priseljenci.

Secondary title: Working with pupils with migrant background in primary school, from the teacherʼs point of view
Secondary abstract: The diploma paper discusses the teacher's standpoints of working with immigrant students. In the theoretical part we have studied migrations and the consequences they bring. We have introduced the statutory basis and guidelines for the integration of immigrant children in primary schools and the significance of the school as well as the workers for immigrant students. In the empirical part we have checked different kinds of communicating with these students, the knowledge of statutory regulations, and ways of knowledge assessment and the usage of different learning forms while working with immigrant students. We wanted to find out the teachers' self-assessment about the work with immigrant students and the level of agreement with the suggestions for improving the students' learning achievements. The focus was put on the differences between teachers according to their teaching years and level of teaching. The basic findings show, that teachers mostly communicate in Slovene language with the immigrant students and that the teachers, in their opinion, are well acquainted with the statutory adjustments. Teachers use different forms of knowledge assessment and teaching forms. The teachers' standpoints towards working with immigrant students are mostly positive. Nevertheless, some teachers pointed out that working with immigrant students means a bigger amount of stress, some teachers are even afraid of physical abuse or furthermore noticed discipline problems with these students. We also found out that teachers cooperate with different experts in different ways and they feel the need for further education in working with immigrant students.
