Abstract
Diplomska naloga predstavlja grafično okolje Google Material Design, ki omogoča enotno in konsistentno uporabniško izkušnjo na celotni platformi Android. Raziskali smo zgodovino platforme Android in evolucijo razvoja uporabniških vmesnikov. Na podlagi aktualnih smernic smo razvili mobilno aplikacijo multimedijskega pregledovalnika prosto dostopne filmske ter televizijske podatkovne baze, ki predstavlja praktične prednosti predlagane uporabniške izkušnje. Z uporabo Google Material Design je platforma Android prišla na nivo platforme Apple iOS, ki je na podobnem konceptu temeljila že od začetka.

This thesis presents the new graphical environment Google Material Design, which provides a uniform and consistent user experience for the entire Android platform. The entire history of the Android platform and the associated evolution of user interface design were reviewed. Based on the current design patterns and guidelines, a multimedia-based movie and TV viewer mobile application was developed. The application showcases the practical advantages of the proposed new user experience. By using the Google Material Design environment, the Android platform came to the same level of user experience as the Apple iOS platform, which used a similar concept since the beginning. |
