Abstract
V diplomskem delu najprej razčlenimo pojem vizualizacije ter opišemo razliko med 2D in 3D-vizualizacijo. Opišemo zgodovino 3D-tiska, kjer s kronološkim pregledom bralcu predstavimo vpogled v preteklost razvijanja 3D-tiskalnikov. Po zgodovinskem pregledu razložimo in opišemo tehnologijo, ki jo 3D-tisk uporablja. Opisani so najbolj znani tipi tehnologij te vrste tiska. V nadaljevanju opišemo računalniške programe, ki omogočajo in podpirajo to vrsto tiska. Glede na delitev programov v dve skupini predstavimo in razložimo brezplačne ter plačljive programe. Opišemo, na kaj vse moramo biti pozorni pri izdelavi prototipa. V 3. vsebinskem sklopu našo temo vključimo v pouk osnovnih šol. Izdelali smo e-učbenik z naslovom 3D-tisk in učno pripravo za dve šolski uri. Prikazali smo tudi konkretni postopek tiskanja na 3D-tiskalniku. Pogled usmerimo tudi v prihodnost 3D-tiska in napovemo, v kateri smeri bo potekal razvoj te tehnologije. Ugotovili smo, da se je 3D-tisk skozi zgodovino hitro razvijal, s tem pa tudi tehnologija tiska. 3D-tisk bo tako cenovno kot funkcionalno kmalu dostopen vsakemu uporabniku, ki bo imel željo po tej vrsti tiska. 3D-tiskalnik bo torej kmalu v vsakem gospodinjstvu.

In this thesis, we first analyse the concept of visualization and describe the differences between 2D and 3D visualization. We describe the history of 3D printing, whereas the reader is introduced with the history of the development of 3D printers. The chronological overview is followed by an explanation and description of the technology used in 3D printing. After the description of the most well-known types of 3D printing technology we focus on the computer programs that facilitate and support this type of printing and point out the features that have to be considered when creating a prototype. According to the division of programs into two groups, we present and explain open source and closed source programs. In the 3rd section of the paper, our theme is integrated in primary school lessons. We have created an e-textbook named 3D Printing and a 2-hour lesson plan. We have prepared an actual example of 3D printing. This paper also discusses the future of 3D printing as it predicts the direction of the development of 3D technology. We have established that, throughout history, 3D printing and consequently the printing technology have been expanding rapidly. 3D printing will soon be affordable and functionally available for everyone. Soon there will be a 3D printer in every home. |
