Abstract

Testiranje programske opreme je eden ključnih procesov izdelave programov. Razvijalcem pomaga pri odkrivanju napak med samo izdelavo aplikacije, kar pomeni, da programska oprema, ki jo razvijemo, ne vsebuje napak, ki jih je mogoče odkriti z namenskimi testi. Za izdelavo učinkovitih testov je treba dobro razumeti arhitekturo programa, ki ga želimo testirati. Razumevanje delovanja programa izpostavi dele programa, na katere se moramo osredotočiti pri načrtovanju testov. Cilj diplomskega dela je izdelati aplikacijo, ki bo implementirala pet testov za testiranje programske opreme na pametnih gospodinjskih aparatih, ter jo predstaviti.

Secondary abstract: Software testing encompasses a crucial component of software development. It serves to provide developers with the means to detect glitches at the time of development which signfies that the developed hardware does not consist of errors, that can be discovered through dedicated tests. This thesis evidently shows, that for development of eficient testing procedures, a monumental understanding of software architecture is required in order to recognize flaws in a program. Understanding how a program operates highlights distinct sectors of the software, that require special attention when designing tests. Aim of this thesis is to develop an application, that will implement five software testing procedures, which will then be used on smart domestic appliances.
