Abstract
Igra je v predšolskem obdobju otrokova prevladujoča dejavnost. Igra je ne le osnovna dejavnost, ampak tudi potreba vsakega otroka in pogoj, da se normalno psihično in fizično razvija. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela so orisana teoretična izhodišča otrokovega razvoja, pomen igre in razvojne značilnosti otrok, starih od 4 do 6 let. Predstavljene so didaktične igrače in odpadni materiali, ki so največkrat uporabljeni v vrtcu. V empiričnem delu pa so predstavljeni rezultati anketnega vprašalnika, ki je bil razdeljen strokovnim delavcem Vrtca Jesenice, v katerem sem zaposlena. Opisani so načini izdelave didaktičnih iger iz odpadnega materiala, ki so jih izdelovali otroci, stari od 4 do 6 let, ob pomoči odraslih. Pri izdelavi le-teh je bil uporabljen izključno odpadni material, ki so ga zbirali skupaj s starši in ga prinašali v vrtec. Glede na rezultate anketnega vprašalnika in opažanja pri izdelavi ter uporabi didaktičnih iger iz odpadnih materialov lahko zaključimo, da je odpadna embalaža v vrtcu primerna za izdelavo raznolikih didaktičnih iger, da otroci pogosto posegajo po tovrstnih igrah in imajo željo po izdelovanju le-teh.

Play is the prevailing activity of preschool children. It is not only their basic activity but also the need of every child and essential element of their normal physical and mental development. In the theoretical part of this diploma work we introduce theoretical frameworks of child development, the importance of play and development characteristics of children aged four to six. Didactic toys and waste materials most often used in kindergartens are presented.
In the empirical part we present results of the questionnaire answered by professional workers of Jesenice Kindergarten. The ways of producing didactic games out of waste materials are described. The games were made by children aged four to six with the help of adults. They were made exclusively of waste materials collected and brought to kindergarten by children and their parents. The results of the questionnaire and observations made during producing and using waste material didactic games lead us to conclusions that certain waste materials are suitable for making various didactic games in kindergartens that children like to play with such toys and also like to make them. |
