Doživljanje vloge medicinske sestre s stališča posvojitelja

Abstract

Posvojitev, katere namen je predvsem korist otroka, poveže ljudi, ki se med seboj dejansko niso poznali: družino, ki je otroka dala v posvojitev, otroka, ki je posvojen in družino, ki je otroka posvojila. Znotraj te triade pomembno vlogo odigra tudi medicinska sestra, ki sodeluje pri aktu posvojitve. V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge predstavimo pojme posvojitve, predpise v Sloveniji, ki regulirajo posvojitev, opišemo vlogo medicinske sestre pri posvojitvi otroka, njeno skrb za posvojenca in biološke starše ter zdravstveno vzgojo posvojiteljev. V diplomskem delu uporabimo deskriptivno metodo dela. Raziskava temelji na kvalitativni metodologiji. Predstavimo študijo primera in uporabimo tehniko intervjuja, ki vsebujejo vprašanja odprtega tipa. Vprašanja se nanašajo na osebno izkušnjo starša posvojitelja. Iz študije primera ugotovimo, da je posvojitelj prejel dovolj informacij s strani medicinske sestre o oskrbi novorojenčka, tako da je mami in otroku zagotovljena zdravstvena in psihična varnost v domačem okolju. Posvojeni otrok s pomočjo staršev posvojiteljev in zdravstvenega osebja napreduje v razvoju. Otrok potrebuje varnost, nego, ljubeč odnos ter spodbudo in pomoč staršev pri opravljanju osnovnih življenjskih aktivnosti. Prav zaradi tega je pomembno, da se posvojitelji izobražujejo in dobijo vse potrebne informacije glede skrbi za otroka predvsem od zdravstvenih delavcev oz. medicinske sestre.

Secondary abstract:	Adoption, the main aim of which is to provide care for a child, connects people that did not know each other before: family that gave child into adoption, the child that is adopted and the family that adopted the child. The nurse that participates in the act of adoption has an important role inside this triad. In theoretical part of our work, we represent the concepts from the field of adoption, the regulation that concerns adoption in Slovenia, we describe the role of a nurse in the process of adoption, her role in taking care for adopted child and for biological parents and the medical education that she needs to offer to adoptive parents. We use descriptive method of research and qualitative methodology. We represent the case study and use an interview technic with open type questions that relate to a personal experience of an adoptive parent. In the case study we find that the adoptive parent has gained enough information from the nurse about the care for an ewborn, therefore the mother and the child are provided with medical and psychical security in their domestic environment. With the help of adoptive parents and the nurse, the adopted child is developing very well. A child needs security, care, love, encouragement and help of parents for his vital activities. For this reason, it is important that adoptive parents get educated and gain all the necessary information on how to take care for a child, especially from the medical personnel – nurses.
