Abstract

Diplomska naloga predstavlja razvoj multimedijskega predvajalnika za mobilno platformo Apple iOS in njegovo integracijo v namensko aplikacijo Astro Raku. Na podlagi analize konkurenčnih sistemov in aplikacij smo zasnovali razširljivo arhitekturo predvajalnika ter jo implementirali v programskem jeziku Apple Swift. Zasnovana arhitektura predstavlja ogrodje za nadaljnje razširitve v obliki vtičnika. Realizirana rešitev je primerljiva s konkurenčnimi izvedbami in je v okviru celotnega sistema Astro Raku trenutno vodilna na trgu Malezije.

Secondary abstract: This thesis represents the development of a multi-purpose multimedia player for the mobile platform Apple iOS and its integration into Astro Raku mobile application. Based on the analysis of the existing and competitive systems, a new architecture was designed and implemented using the Swift programming language. The implemented architecture constitutes a core framework for further pluggable extensions. The result of this thesis is comparable with existing solutions and is currently, in the scope of the entire Astro Raku system, the market leader in Malaysia.
