Abstract

Vozniki prepogosto pozabljamo na pomembnost varnosti v cestnem prometu. Neprilagojena hitrost je najpogostejši vzrok za povzročitev prometnih nesreč. Različni akterji so razvili nemalo telematskih aplikacij, ki bi naj pripomogle k varnejši, pa tudi varčnejši, vožnji. V diplomskem delu je predstavljena njihova aplikacija Drajv, ki jo je razvila Zavarovalnica Triglav, d.d. Po dobrem letu dni uporabe te aplikacije smo analizirali, če je možno zaznati kakšne spremembe v statistiki cestnih prometnih nesreč. Ugotovili smo, da je obseg uporabe te aplikacije preskromen, da bi lahko potrdili ali ovrgli trditev, da tovrstne aplikacije zanesljivo povečujejo varčnost in varnost vožnje.

Secondary abstract: Drivers often forget the importance of road safety. Excessive speed is the most common cause of causing traffic accidents. Different actors have developed a lot of telematics applications, which should contribute to a safer, but also more economical driving. The thesis presents the application “Drajv”, developed by Zavarovalnica Triglav d.d. After over a year of its implementation, we analyzed if it is possible to detect any changes in the statistics of road traffic accidents. We found that the volume of users and amount of driven kilometers is too modest to confirm or reject the thesis that these applications reliably increase the efficiency and safety of driving.
