Secondary abstract: | Acoustic camera is a device for sound source localization. It consists of a sound pressure sensor array and a video camera. With this it combines fields of acoustics and image processing. With use of different algorithms we can calculate the coordinates of the sound source. Most of the algorithms are based on usage of cross correlation and principle of time difference of arrival TDOA. The purpose of this project was design and implementation of our own prototype. For this reason we have studied the operation and applications of acoustic cameras. The emphasis was on microphone arrays, which are their main part. Finished prototype can be improved with the use of more microphones and an upgrade of used algorithms. |
