Prometne značilnosti maloprometnih cest

Abstract

Predmet diplomskega dela je področje maloprometnih cest. Manj prometne ceste običajno predstavljajo ceste izven urbanih okolij, po katerih poteka promet majhnih prometnih volumnov. V razvitih državah imajo manj prometne ceste pomembno vlogo pri pospeševanju in zagotavljanju ustreznega razvoja podeželja, zadovoljevanju potreb lokalnega gospodarstva / industrije ter vzpodbujanju gospodarskih in socialnih aktivnosti na lokalnem in regionalnem nivoju. Namen diplomske naloge je bil prikazati prometne značilnosti maloprometnih cest. Za to vrsto cest je postavljena definicija ter izoblikovani kriteriji, po katerih bomo maloprometne ceste ločili od ostalih vrst (javnih) cest. Cilj diplomskega dela je bil predstaviti predlog klasifikacije maloprometnih cest na osnovi prometnih značilnosti, s čimer bi olajšali delo - predvsem upravljavcem cest - pri njihovem upravljanju z javnimi cestami ter njihovim vzdrževanjem.

Secondary abstract:	The subject of the diploma work is an area of Low-volume roads. Low-volume roads are mostly defined as those in a rural environment that enable automobile operation and carry just small amount of traffic. Low-volume roads play a major role in the industrialised countries in promoting and facilitating the proper development of countryside, serving needs of local economy / industry and promoting commercial and social activity at both local and regional level. The purpose of diploma work was to show the traffic characteristics of Low-volume roads. For this type of road, we settled the definition and the criteria by which we could Low-volume roads separate from other types of (public) road. The aim of the diploma work was to present the proposal for the classification of Low-volume roads based on traffic characteristics, in order to help at the work - particularly for operators of the road network - in their management of public roads and their maintenance.
