Abstract
Projektna naloga obravnava gradnjo ločnih konstrukcij v antičnem Rimu. Na kratko je opisan razvoj gradbeništva in tehnologij grajenja pred Rimskim imperijem. Opisani so načini pridobivanja, obdelave, vgrajevanja in transporta različnih gradbenih materialov. Podanih je nekaj informacij o rimskem znanju matematike in teoretičnih znanjih, ki so jih Rimljani uporabljali pri gradnji. Glavni del naloge nam poda informacije o statičnem sistemu loka, njegovem kronološkem razvoju in tehnologiji grajenja različnih ločnih konstrukcij. Največje rimske gradnje so prikazane v obliki časovnega traku.

Project deals with vaulted construction in ancient Rome. Development of civil engineering and building technologies is described shortly. Document contains information about extraction, process, installation and transportation of different building materials. Information about roman mathematical and structural knowledge is provided. Main part of project gives us information about static system of arch, its chronological development and building technologies of different vaulted structures. The largest building projects in ancient Rome are showed in form of timeline. |
