Abstract
Obstajata dva načina obrestovanja, in sicer dekurzivno in anticipativno obrestovanje. Pri dekurzivnem načinu obresti obračunamo ob preteku določenega obdobja in jih prištejemo h glavnici.

Loans with anticipative interest rates |
Secondary abstract: |
When deciding about loans people usually take into account interest rates. To people who do not understand banking very well, the level of interest rate is the only information they understand and is shows them the actual amount of money that has to be paid for a certain loan amount. They are often unaware of the fact that a loan amount also depends on other factors, for example: interest rate methods, types of interest rate and the number of payments within the time unit.
There are two interest rate methods: the decursive and the anticipative method. When using decursive interest rate method, interests are charged at the end of the certain period and then added to the principal. When using the anticipative interest rate method, interests are charged at the beginning of the period and they are immediately deducted from the principal. Compared to the decursive method, the anticipative method is more favourable for the lender than the borrower. |
