Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo raziskali definicije projektnega učenja in projektnega dela. Predstavljeni so tipi projektnega dela, osnovne značilnosti in etape projektnega dela, ki tvorijo pomembne elemente pri projektnem učenju in razvijajo trajno znanje otrok. Osredotočili smo se na uvajanje otrok v lokalno družbeno okolje in zato raziskali in predstavili pomembnejše kulturne ustanove in kulturne znamenitosti kraja Radlje ob Dravi, ki smo jih v praktičnem delu vključili v načrtovanje projektnega dela. V praktičnem delu je predstavljen projekt Spoznavanje domačega kraja Radlje ob Dravi s projektnim učenjem, ki smo ga izvedli v vrtcu Radlje ob Dravi. Projekt je predstavljen po etapah projekta. Ugotovili smo, da otrok pri projektnem učenju aktivno sodeluje prav v vseh etapah projekta, tudi pri idejni zasnovi in načrtovanju. Prav tako morajo biti naloge vodje projekta in ostalih udeležencev jasno opredeljene. Skozi projektno učenje otrok pridobiva predvsem na organizacijskih in komunikacijskih spretnostih. Pri načrtovanju projekta otrok pridobiva organizacijske veščine, ob obisku institucij in kulturnih znamenitosti ter pri vmesnih etapah otroci pridobivajo komunikacijske veščine. Praktični del projekta se je izvajal zunaj vrtca, na prostem in v institucijah zunaj vrtca. Otrokom je bila ta oblika dela všeč.

Secondary abstract: In this diploma thesis, the definitions of project learning and project work have been researched. It presents several types of project work, its principal characteristics and stages, which form an important element in project learning, and develop permanent skills in children. It is focuses on introducing children to the local social environment and, therefore, the most important cultural institutions and cultural attractions of Radlje ob Dravi were researched and presented in the practical part of the thesis, and later included into the planning of the project work. The learning project Getting to know Radlje ob Dravi - our hometown was executed in the Radlje ob Dravi kindergarten. The project was presented by its stages. It was determined, that children involved in the learning project actively participate in all stages, including the conceptual design and planning of the project. The tasks of the project manager and the other participants were clearly defined. Through the project-based learning children mainly acquire organizational and communication skills. The organizational skills are mostly acquired when planning the project, while communication skills are strengthened by visiting institutions and cultural attractions, as well as at intermediate stages of the project. The practical part of the project was carried out outside the kindergarten, outdoors and in the external institutions. The participating children enjoyed this way of learning.
