Abstract

Diplomsko delo z naslovom Balet v luči dijakov Konservatorija za glasbo in balet v Mariboru smo v začetku predstavili s krajšim teoretičnim pregledom zgodovine plesa skozi obdobja. Več pozornosti smo v nadaljevanju namenili baletni umetnosti. Predstavili smo balet od izvora do 20. stoletja, oblačila v baletu, ki so se skozi obdobja spreminjala, baletni prostor, ki je ključnega pomena za učenje in poučevanje baleta. Nato smo teoretični del diplomskega dela smiselno povezali z empiričnim, zato smo z namenom zajeli področje izobraževanja in samopodobe. Celoten empirični del temelji na postopkih zbiranja in analizi rezultatov raziskave, ki smo jo izvedli s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, na Konservatoriju za glasbo in balet Maribor, pri katerem je sodelovalo 24 dijakov iz vseh štirih letnikov Konservatorija, oddelka Balet. Na podlagi dobljenih rezultatov smo predstavili namen diplomskega dela in ugotovili, da pozitivna samopodoba dijakov vpliva na njihovo uspešno izobraževanje in celoten odnos v samem procesu ter da dijaki spoštujejo svojega baletnega učitelja in upoštevajo njegove metode dela pri pridobivanju novih znanj, s katerimi uspešno dosegajo zastavljene cilje.

Secondary abstract: We started this thesis, with the title Ballet in Light of Students of The Maribor Conservatory of Music and Ballet, with a brief theory on history of dance through the periods. In the following chapters, we gave more attention to ballet as an art form. We have introduced ballet from its beginnings through to 20th century, ballet clothing, which have changed through its periods and ballet studios, which are of utmost importance for studying and learning ballet. We linked our empirical part of this thesis to the theory in order to capture the aspect of education and self-image. Empirical part of this thesis is based on collecting and analysis of the data, we have acquired through questionnaire handouts at The Maribor Conservatory of Music and Ballet. 24 students, from all four grades of the schoolʹs ballet department, answered the questionnaire. On the basis of gathered data, we have defined the purpose of this thesis and found out, that positive self-image of students affects successful scooling. Positive self-image also affects the whole learning process, as students respect their professors and their teaching methods, for successful accomplishing of students goals, more.
