Abstract

Secondary title: PRECARIAT AS A STRUCTURAL ANSWER TO NEOLIBERAL CAPITALISM
Secondary abstract: This master's thesis deals with a problem of precariat, presented as a rather unique structural answer to neoliberal politics of the recent years. The latter led to a situation where the majority of society is recognized as a victim of political and economic measures that were being implemented by different governments of numerous countries since the 1980's of the previous century. The work also explores a possbility whether the precariat could be discussed as a distinctive social group. The aim of this thesis is to show how a national introduction of neoliberal agenda has affected the structural tension of society. The main methodological tool used here is a comparative analysis of primary sources, focused on four unique methods: method of analysis and synthesis, method of abstraction and concretisation, method of generalization and specialization, and historical method. The findings show that the process of precarization leads to disintegration of society, displayed in the overall life uncertainty of its people and the abscence of alternative political imaginary.
