Abstract

Otrokom sem predstavila indijsko umetnost, natančneje miniaturno slikarstvo in rangoli. Izpopolnili smo znanje o uporabi primarnih in sekundarnih barv ter uporabi različnih likovnih formatov.

Secondary title: Relation between colour and pictorial composition format in Indian art
Secondary abstract: Colour is something which surrounds us all the time. My travels to India have made a lasting effect on me in terms of colours and its combinations. For this reason, in this thesis I have researched the role of colour in Indian art in connection with the pictorial composition format. Theoretical part deals with seven colour contrasts and symbolism of colour in Indian culture. I also covered pictorial composition format and made an analysis of relationship between colour and pictorial composition format in Indian art. I have covered more in detail miniature paintings and folk art of kolam, rangoli and mandana. On the basis of theoretical research of relationship between colour and pictorial composition format, I have prepared an art assignment for the students of primary school, based on my predefined curriculum. I presented Indian miniature painting and rangoli art to the students. I have also covered and improved their knowledge of the usage of primary and secondary colours and the usage of different pictorial composition format.
