Abstract

Secondary title: THE DEVELOPMENT OF NATIVE MOBILE APPLICATIONS FOR SEARCHING IN THE REPOSITORIES OF THE NATIONAL OPEN ACCESS INFRASTRUCTURE
Secondary abstract: For this thesis we researched native application development for different mobile operating systems. We described and compared development of applications for Android, iOS and Windows Phone. For each system we developed mobile application, wich enables users access to student thesis and research publications, from universities and other institutes in Slovenian open access infrastructure. Applications were published on Google Play, Apple App Store and Windows Store. During development we concluded that knowing specifications and good planning can considerably reduce development time.
