Abstract

Poliamid 6.6 smo reciklirali s postopkom hidrolize v nevtralnem in bazičnem mediju.

Secondary title: Analysis of degradation products of chemical recycling of polyamide 66
Secondary abstract: Today many plastic materials ends up in landfills. With the process of chemical recycling we want to avoid this situation. Polyamide 6.6 was recycled by the process of hydrolysis in neutral and alkaline media. As a result of the chemical recycling of polyamide 6.6, we want to acquire purity of the monomeric units as high as possible, therefore we minimized the use of chemicals in each experiment. The results of depolymerization was monitored by IR, Raman and 1H NMR spectroscopy, as well as by DSC thermal analysis. We also measured the pH of the liquid phase and the mass of the solid phase. Analytical methods confirmed that we managed to break down PA 6.6 units into smaller oligomeric and also monomeric units.
