Abstract

V diplomskem delu je opisan postopek ocenjevanja možnosti izkoriščanja vodne energije z Darrieusovo turbino na reki Muri. Glavna tematika je zasnova konstrukcije, ki omogoča dogradnjo vodne turbine na že obstoječo infrastrukturo. V sklopu diplomskega dela so bile izvedene eksperimentalne meritve na reki Muri, katerih rezultate smo uporabili kot osnovo za numerično analizo toka. Iz numerične analize smo odčitali obremenitev, ki jo vodni tok predstavlja in s pomočjo sodobnih inženirskih programov generirali model konstrukcije. Sama konstrukcija je bila nato analizirana v programskem paketu Abaqus. Rdeča nit diplomske naloge je povezava med eksperimentalnim delom in sodobnimi inženirskimi metodami. Končni rezultat je optimizirana nosilna konstrukcija turbine.

Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis estimates the possibilities of exploiting water energy with Darrieus turbine on Mura river. The main thesis topic isthe design of the load carrying structure, which allows the installation of the Darrieus turbine on the existing infrastructure.As a part of the thesis, experimental measurements have been carried out on the Mura river, the results of which were used as the basis for numerical analysis of the river flow. The numerical analysis was used to compute the load of the water flow and modern engineering programs were used to generate a model of the load carrying structure. The construction itself was then analysed using Abaqus finite element code.The goal of the thesis is to represent the link between the experimental work and modern engineering methods, while using a combination of both to reach the optimal design of load carrying structure.
