Abstract

V prvem delu diplomskega dela so v splošnem predstavljeni geografski informacijski sistemi, principi, po katerih delujejo, zgodovina sistemov in njihova uporaba. V nadaljevanju je izvedena primerjava med predhodnim in trenutnim GIS sistemom občine Rače - Fram. Jedro diplomskega dela se osredotoča na spletni GIS pregledovalnik podjetja Geofoto d.o.o., ki je posebej razvit za potrebe občine Rače - Fram. Predstavljeno je obstoječe stanje spletnega GIS pregledovalnika z možnostmi izboljšave podatkovnih slojev kanalizacija in vodovod za večjo avtomatizacijo procesov občinske uprave občine Rače - Fram.

Secondary abstract: In the first part of this diploma paper geographic information system is generally presented, as well as its principles, history and their use. Furthermore, the comparison between previous and current GIS system of the community Rače –Fram is carried out. The centre part of this paper focuses on the web GIS viewer made by the company Geofoto d.o.o. This GIS viewer is developed to meet the needs of the community Rače - Fram. The current state of the web GIS viewer is also described along with the improvements of data layers sewage and water distribution system for better automatization of processes in the community Rače –Fram.
