Abstract

Diplomsko delo obravnava optični pregled večvarkovnega zvarnega spoja in določitev karakterističnih mikrostruktur v korenu, temenu in toplotno vplivanem področju zvarnega spoja izdelanega iz visokotrdnostnega mikrolegiranega jekla, ki se največkrat uporablja za gradnjo energetskih sistemov. Opisani so postopki odvzemanja vzorcev iz zvarnih spojev in priprava metalografskih obrusov za kvalitetno izdelavo metalografskih slik. Ugotovljeno je, da je najbolj kritična mikrostruktura z najnižjo lomno žilavostjo toplotno vplivano področje večvarkovnega zvarnega spoja.

Secondary abstract: Thesis deals with an optical inspection of the multi-pass double v weld joint and the determination of characteristic microstructures in the root, crown and the heat affected zone of welded joint made from high-strength microalloyed steel, which is mainly used for the construction of energy systems. It describes the procedures for taking samples of welded joints and the preparation of metallographic samples for quality production of metallographic images. It was found that the most critical microstructure with the lowest fracture toughness is the heat affected zone of multi-pass double v weld joint.
