Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela je opisati poklic operacijskih medicinskih sester, delovno mesto in pogoje za zasedbo delovnega mesta, kot tudi proces zaposlovanja, izobraževanja in usposabljanja v dejavnosti zdravstva. Obravnavali smo kritične točke v izvedbi zaposlovanja, izobraževanja, usposabljanja in vrednotenja operacijskih medicinskih sester. Raziskavo smo izvedli s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika v operacijskih blokih dveh slovenskih bolnišnic. Rezultati raziskave ponujajo obenem problematiko in rešitve, ki jih vidijo operacijske medicinske sestre same. Problemi se kažejo v neustreznem reševanju kadrovskega primanjkljaja in posledično v preobremenjenosti, neustreznem nagrajevanju in napredovanju, v pomanjkljivosti v izobraževanju, uvajanju novo zaposlenih in strokovnem usposabljanju nasploh. Rešitve se kažejo v zaposlitvi zadostnega števila kadrov, upoštevanju kadrovskih normativov, urejeni sistemizaciji delovnih mest, upoštevanju pravic zaposlenih, zadostnem številu mentorjev za delo s študenti, dijaki, novo zaposlenimi, v učinkovitih pogovorih s konkretnimi rešitvami in prevzemanju odgovornosti glede prevelikega obsega dela in preobremenjenosti zaposlenih operacijskih medicinskih sester. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da so operacijske medicinske sestre v obeh bolnišnicah preobremenjene na delovnem mestu zaradi prevelikega obsega dela. Izobražujejo in praktično usposabljajo se lahko mnogo manj kakor bi same želele in kakor bi se tudi morale, glede na veljavne predpise. Posledica tega so lahko strokovne napake, kar pa ni dopustno. Zato v nalogi predlagamo izboljšave.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of the study is to describe the profession of operating room nurses, their workplace and conditions for them to get the post; so as the process of recruitment, education and qualifying in the sphere of health care activity. The critical points in the implementation of employment, education, qualifying and evaluation of the operating room nurses are also discussed. The survey was conducted using a questionnaire fulfilled in operation blocks of two Slovenian hospitals. The survey results show the problems so as their solutions as seen by the operating room nurses themselves. The problems are reflected in the inadequate addressing of the human resource deficit, and consequently, overburdening, inadequate remuneration and promotion in shortcomings in education, in introducing of new employees and in professional qualifying in general. Solutions can be seen in the employment of a sufficient number of staff, in considering staffing norms, in an orderly systematization of jobs, respecting the rights of employees, having a sufficient number of mentors to work with students and new employees, in effective dialogues bringing concrete solutions, assuming responsibility regarding excessive workload so as overburdening of operating room nurses. Research results have shown that operating room nurses working in both hospitals are overloaded due to excessive workload. Possibilities for their education and practical qualifying are much smaller than they would like, and also much smaller than they should have according to the regulations in force. These may result in making not admissible technical errors. This is why some improvements are also proposed.
