Abstract

V podjetju Valmont s.p., ki izdeluje PVC-okna, vrata ter aluminijaste rolete, se soočajo z neracionalno porabo časa in poškodovanim materialom v proizvodni hali, ki je hkrati tudi skladišče polizdelkov in končnih izdelkov. V uvodnem delu smo določili cilje, omejitve, predpostavke in metode, po katerih smo se ravnali pri pisanju diplomskega dela. V prvem delu smo za lažje razumevanje najprej predstavili nekaj teoretičnih osnov načinov skladiščenja zalog ter učinkovitega planiranja proizvodnje in sosledja aktivnosti. V drugem delu smo opisali obstoječe stanje v podjetju Valmont s.p. in predstavili celotno proizvodnjo podjetja, bolj podrobno pa smo se posvetili proizvodnji aluminijastih rolet. Vse ugotovitve smo na to kritično ovrednotili. V zadnjem poglavju smo predlagali možne rešitve za pomanjkljivosti, ki smo jih opisali v prejšnjem poglavju. Podjetju smo predlagali naslednje rešitve: nadgradnjo obstoječega regala in postavitev novega, učinkovitejše naročanje stekel ter ostalega materiala. Z uvedbo predlaganih rešitev lahko pričakujejo manjše stroške zaradi poškodovanega blaga, hitrejšo proizvodnjo, lažjo manipulacijo z uskladiščenim materialom in večjo varnost zaposlenih.

Secondary title: Rearrangement of production facilities in terms of logistics in company Valmont
Secondary abstract: In company Valmont, which makes PVC windows, doors and aluminium window shutters, they are facing with irrational use of time and damaged materials in the production hall, which is also a warehouse of final and semi-final products. In the introductory chapter we set the goals, limitations, assumptions and the methods by which the thesis consists of. Because of the easier understanding, we first introduced some theoretical basis of warehousing, stock, production planning and the sequence of activities. In the second chapter we described existing conditions in the company, roughly we described the whole production of the company but in more detail we focused on manufacturing aluminium window shutters. All findings we critically evaluated. In the last part we suggested possible solutions for deficiencies which we described in the previous chapter. We proposed the following solutions to the company: Upgrading the existing rack, place a new rack, optimize orders for glass and other material. With the introduction of these solutions, the company can expect fewer expenses in terms of damage material, faster production, easier manipulation of stored materials and greater employee safety.
