Abstract

Secondary title: Security control in the smart house
Secondary abstract: This thesis presents a construction of the microcontroller system that is used for security control in a smart house. The system can detect dangerous gases and movement within the secured area. For user identification, we used a fingerprint reader. The security system can be managed by using an LCD touch screen. In case of the activated alarm, the user was informed by a sound siren, while in case of a long distance communication, the user received information through GSM module that sent the notification about the set off alarm to the mobile phone. In case of a power cut, the system was powered by the storage battery. In addition, we have integrated a switch-off circuit that prevents an excessive discharge of the storage battery. Furthermore, we have constructed a prototype of the security system that was tested in various regimes of performance; finally, we have measured the corresponding power consumption, and tested the system’s autonomy and reliability.
