Abstract
Pod vplivom globalizacije se na naše ozemlje priseljuje vse več populacije iz drugih jezikovnih in kulturnih okolij. Ko se učitelj v šoli sreča z učencem migrantom, mora, kakor nalagajo zakoni in ostali dokumenti, izvesti aktivnosti, ki takemu učencu omogočajo čim prejšnjo in uspešno vključitev v novo okolje, jezik in kulturo. Kljub temu se nekateri učenci migranti znajdejo v veliki stiski zaradi neuspeha. V pričujočem delu smo v teoretičnem delu definirali osnovne pojme, povzeli ustrezno zakonsko podlago, natančno razgrnili Smernice za vključevanje otrok priseljencev v vrtce in šole ter prikazali cilje, načela ter možne didaktično-metodične prilagoditve pri poučevanju učencev migrantov. Opomnili smo tudi, da morajo učitelji in učenci zadostno razviti medkulturne kompetence. Definirali smo, zakaj je drugojezičnost migrantova učna težava. V drugem, empiričnem delu smo primere učiteljevih aktivnosti razvrstili po dvostopenjskem modelu vključevanja, ki ga priporoča Ministrstvo za izobraževanje, znanost in šport. Priložili smo primer Zgibanke z osnovnimi informacijami za starše učencev migrantov, ki se na novo vpisujejo v osnovno šolo. Izdelali smo učno pripravo za izvedbo uvajalnice pred pričetkom šolskega leta za novo vpisane otroke priseljencev in prikazali vsebinsko povezanost te s šolo za starše. Nato smo za posameznega učenca pripravili individualni program za spremljanje njegovega napredka pri učenju slovenščine, načrt ocenjevanja in prilagoditve za prvi dve leti. Razvrstili smo tudi gradivo, učne načrte, zbornike, opise projektov in mesta z informacijami, ki učitelju slovenščine pomagajo, da se na poučevanje učencev migrantov dobro pripravi. Zaključili smo z ugotovitvijo, da vse obravnavane aktivnosti privedejo do uspešne vključitve učenca migranta.

Activities with migrant pupils in primary school |

Due to the impact of globalization, our territory is being populated by people from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. When a teacher faces an immigrant student in their class, the law requires they should perform activities, which enable the student a rapid and successful understanding of the new environment, language and culture. Nonetheless, many students have to cope with great trouble at school. The theoretic part of this thesis explains the basic definitions, summarises the legal background and defines the guidelines on how to help immigrant students at school and preschool. It focuses on the aim, principles, didactic and methodical adjustments, which could potentially become useful in the foreign students' education process. It also explains how teachers and students both need to develop intercultural understanding in an appropriate manner and how learning a foreign language represents a problem for the immigrant student. The empirical part focuses on the teacher's activities, which are classified according to the two-phase integration model proposed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport. It contains an example of a leaflet with basic information for immigrant students' parents enrolling their child in primary school. A teaching programme on how to prepare immigrant students for a new school year has been developed. Information for parents on how the programme is connected to school material has also been provided. Furthermore, an individual programme for each student has been prepared, which follows the progress in studying Slovene, grading methods and changes in the school programme for the first two years. The thesis also focuses on study material, subjects, yearbooks, projects and information points, where Slovene language teachers can thoroughly prepare for these students. The conclusion shows that all the activities considered lead to a more successful integration of immigrant students. |
