magistrsko delo
Abstract
V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni intervjuji s Simonom Krečičem, umetniškim vodjo Opere SNG Maribor, z dr. Henrikom Neubauerjem, z dirigentom Simonom Robinsonom, s sopranistko Andrejo Zakonjšek Krt in s tenoristom Matjažem Stopinškom.

FOLLOWING THE TRAIL OF THE OPERETTA FROM OFFENBACH TO IPAVEC |
Secondary abstract: |
In its introduction, this master's thesis titled Following the trail of the operetta from Offenbach to Ipavec seeks to define the word operetta and outline the development of the operetta from its beginnings in France to its heyday in Austria. A large portion of the theoretical part is dedicated to the development of the operetta in Slovenia. Moreover, the theoretical part also provides a list of Slovenian operettas that have never been performed on Slovenian professional stages, as well as a list of Slovenian operettas that have never even debuted. The theoretical part concludes with a chapter highlighting the differences between an operetta and a musical. The empirical part provides interviews with Simon Krečič, who is the artistic director of the Slovenian National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Maribor, Henrik Neubauer, MD, the conductor Simon Robinson, soprano Andreja Zakonjšek Krt and tenor Matjaž Stopinšek. The empirical part also comprises a detailed description of all operetta performances in both Slovenian opera theatres from 1868 to the present day. The description features the title of the piece, the composer, conductor, director and premier date. The practical part features a short description of the master's performance that was held in the hall of the Anton Martin Slomšek Institute (Zavod Antona Martina Slomška) by the singers of Fiero Spirito operating under the Anton Martin Slomšek Music and Ballet School (Glasbena in baletna šola Antona Martina Slomška). An introduction of the Fiero Spirito singers is also featured in the practical part of this master's thesis. |
