Abstract

Magistrsko delo "Izkustveno učenje pri pouku spoznavanja okolja - eksperimenti z jajci" sestavljata dve samostojni, a med seboj povezani in prepleteni celoti - teoretični in praktični del. Teoretični del vsebuje tri, na raziskovalni problem vezane sklope: naravoslovni sklop (zgodovina naravoslovja, konstruktivizem in naravoslovje v šoli, predvsem zgodnje naravoslovje v osnovnošolskem okolju), psihološki sklop (psihofizične lastnosti osemletnikov) in didaktični sklop (pomen eksperimentalnega dela pri pouku spoznavanja okolja in njegove zakonitosti). Praktični del obsega podrobno učno pripravo, opis poteka dela in evalvacijo izvedene učne ure pri predmetu spoznavanje okolja v tretjem razredu Osnovne šole Puconci. Z izvedbo učne ure smo ugotovili, da mora pouk temeljiti na izkustvenem učenju in eksperimentalnem delu, ki zagotavljata, da pridobljeno znanje ostane trajno in predvsem uporabno v vsakdanjem življenju. Doseganje omenjenega pri učencih zahteva učiteljevo natančno in dobro strukturirano učno pripravo ter zlasti njegovo ustrezno strokovno usposobljenost in prilagodljivost različnim situacijam. Za zagotavljanje nemotenega poteka dela mora učitelj skrbno nadzorovati izvajanje eksperimentov in poskrbeti za varnost, naloge in aktivnosti pa prilagoditi razvojni stopnji učencev.

Secondary abstract: Master's thesis titled "Experiential learning in environmental education lessons - the egg experiments" consists of two independent yet linked and intertwined wholes - theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part includes three sections tied to the research problem: natural science section (history of natural science, constructivism and natural science at school, especially early natural science in primary school), psychological section (psychophysical characteristics of eight-year-old children) and didactic set (the significance of experimentation at environmental education classes and its lawfulness). The practical part includes a detailed lesson plan, description of the course of work and evaluation of the performed lesson at environmental education subject in the third class at Primary School Puconci. By realization of the lesson we have ascertained that classes have to be based upon experiential learning and experimentation which guarantee that the acquired knowledge remains permanent and above all useful in everyday life. The accomplishment of the aforementioned at students requires teacher's precise and well-structured lesson plan and particularly his/her adequate professional qualification and adaptability to different situations. To assure an undisturbed course of work, teacher has to carefully supervise the experimentation and provide for the safety and he/she has to adjust the tasks and activities to students' developmental stage.
