Secondary abstract: | In the case of middle- and long-term introduction of hydrogen technologies in road traffic it will be necessary to predict needs of hydrogen and to provide appropriate energy sources for its production. In this master thesis the information about fuel consumption in personal passenger traffic in Slovenia is collected. On that basis quantities of hydrogen needed to replace currently used fuels are predicted. Furthermore, some key energy sources for hydrogen production and comparison of potential production capacities with predicted needs of hydrogen are presented. The focus of attention is renewable energy sources and other environment-friendly processes |
