Abstract
Internet stvari predstavljajo osebe, naprave, vozila, stavbe in drugi elementi, ki so preko brezžičnih omrežij povezani v kibernetski prostor. Vsaka 'stvar' ima svojo unikatno identifikacijsko številko, omogočeno povezljivost v omrežje, senzorje in programsko opremo, ki omogočajo 'stvarem' zbiranje in izmenjavo podatkov. Temelj interneta stvari so storitve v oblaku, kjer se podatki shranjujejo, aplikacije, ki omogočajo preprosto uporabo in delovanje, ter brezžična omrežja, kjer se podatki izmenjujejo, uporabniku najbližje pa so mobilne naprave.
Internet stvari danes najdemo povsod, čeprav se ga uporabniki še ne zavedajo povsem. Najbolj razširjene so mobilne naprave, najdemo pa ga tudi v medicini in zdravstvenih sistemih, v avtomatiziranih stavbah in pametnih mestih, transportu, nadzoru okolja, industriji, omrežjih električne energije in drugod. Razširjenost interneta stvari se hitro povečuje, s tem pa tudi varnostna tveganja in grožnje uporabnikom.

Internet of Things is represented as people, devices, vehicles, buildings and other elements which are, through wireless networks, connected to cyberspace. Every 'thing' has its own unique identifier, possibility of connecting to internet, sensors and software which enables 'things' to collect and exchange data. The foundation of Internet of Things are cloud services, where the data is stored, applications, which enable simple use and operation, and wireless networks, where the data exchanges, but the closest to the user are mobile devices.
Internet of Things can be found everywhere nowadays even though users are not yet aware of it entirely. Most common are smart phone devices, but we can also find it in medicine and healthcare systems, as home automation and smart cities, transport, in control of environment, industry, smart electric grids and elsewhere. Internet of Things is expanding rapidly and with it come security risks and threats to users. |
