Abstract

V diplomski nalogi sta predstavljena dva koncepta pridobivanja jedrske energije kot vira, ki bi lahko zagotavljala ustrezno količino energije v prihodnosti. Opisana je jedrska fisija, na osnovi katere delujejo jedrske elektrarne danes, ter jedrska fuzija, vir goriva jedrskih elektrarn prihodnosti. Predstavljeni so različni tipi fisijskih in fuzijskih reaktorjev. Omenjena je fuzija v Soncu in ostalih zvezdah, prva realizacija fuzije na Zemlji (fuzijska bomba) ter projekt ITER. V sklopu diplomske naloge sem sestavil tudi učno pripravo, v kateri je opisan možen način predstavitve fuzije učencem devetega razreda osnovne šole.

Secondary abstract: In the diploma thesis I have presented two concepts of producing nuclear energy as a possible sufficient source of energy in the future. The first concept is nuclear fission, which is the basic principle of how current nuclear power plants operate. The second is nuclear fusion, which is what nuclear power plants could use in the future. I have presented many different types of fission and fusion reactors. I have also mentioned fusion in the Sun and other stars, the first realisation of fusion on Earth (the fusion bomb) and the ITER project. As a part of diploma I have also prepared a lesson plan, where I describe, how to present fusion to the ninth grade students of primary school.
