Abstract

Magistrsko delo obravnava primerjavo izgub, ki nastanejo v magnetnih tekočinah, kadar so te izpostavljene zunanjemu spreminjajočemu magnetnemu polju. Primerjava je obsegala dve vrsti spreminjanja polja, in sicer rotacijsko in pulzirajoče. Meritve so bile opravljene po kalorimetrični metodi, ki temelji na meritvi temperaturnega odziva merjenca, iz katerega se nato ugotovi specifična stopnja absorpcije, iz te pa nato določimo izgube. Delo zajema teoretično ozadje magnetizma in magnetnih materialov, kot tudi magnetnih tekočin. Predstavljene so tudi metode za pridobivanje magnetnih tekočin, karakterizacijo izgub, opisan je merilni sistem in postopek izvajanja meritev. Sklepni del naloge prikazuje rezultate meritev ter ugotovitve razlike izgub med obema vrstama spreminjanja polja.

Secondary title: COMPARISON OF LOSSES MAGNETIC MATERIALS IN ROTATING AND PULSATING MAGNETIC FIELD
Secondary abstract: The master thesis deals with the comparison of losses, which occur in magnetic fluids, when they are exposed to an external magnetic field. The comparisons have been done for two forms of magnetic fields, namely rotating and pulsating magnetic field. The measurements were according to the calorimetric method, which is based on measuring the temperature response of the sample, from which the specific absorption rate is determined, resulting the losses. The thesis describes the theoretical background of magnetism and magnetic materials as well as magnetic fluids. Displays methods of magnetic fluids manufacturing, characterization of losses, it describes the measuring system and measuring process. It ends with the display of measurements results and comparison of losses.
