Abstract

Magistrsko delo obravnava konceptualno urbanistično ureditev naselja Ruše, natančneje starega strogega središča in idejno zasnovo arhitekture knjižnice na praznem zemljišču na tem območju. Zaradi spremenjenega načina življenja in zmanjšanja pomena prostorske centralnosti se Ruše niso izognile trendu propadanja mestnega središča in zapiranja lokalov ter trgovin. K temu je veliko prispevala tudi slabo načrtovana urbanistična zasnova mesta, ki ni upoštevala načela celovitosti naselja. Velik del hiš v ožjem območju obdelave bi lahko opisali kot hiše duhov, saj so že vrsto let zapuščene in prazne. V nalogi bomo z upoštevanjem lokalne gradnje in videza stavb staro mestno jedro ponovno oživeli ter ga naredili privlačnega tako za domačine kot tudi za turiste.

Secondary abstract:	This Master’s thesis deals with the conceptual urbanistic revitalization of town Ruše, specifically, of its old town center and with conceptual design of a new library, positioned on the vacant plot in the area. Due to both changing lifestyles and the decrease in importance of spatial centrality, Ruše town center had not been able to escape the deterioration trend which can be also seen in the closing of bars and shops. The process has been accelerated by the inadequate urban planning, which did not consider the principle of integrity. Many of the houses in the narrow range of processing could be described as ghost houses, as they have been abandoned and stayed empty over the last couple of years. In this thesis we will revitalize the old city center, while considering local building type and the appearance of the local buildings, thus making it enticing for both locals as well as tourists.
