Abstract

Diplomski projekt sem usmerila v prvine likovne teorije, natančneje v artikulacijo likovne spremenljivke gostota in navezave drugih področij nanjo. Število, gostota in tekstura so medsebojno odvisne spremenljivke. Ker spadajo v isti sklop v nalogi analiziram tudi število in teksturo. V osrednjem delu se osredotočim na analizo konkretnih primerov del različnih avtorjev. Izbrana dela pripadajo različnim likovnim področjem. V sami analizi definiram optična dejstva, zanimajo pa me tudi doživljajski in oblikotvorni potenciale števila, gostote in teksture. Kot zanimivost sem vključila še značilnosti umetniškega gibanja minimalizma, kjer gostota v objektih igra ključno vlogo. Nazadnje predstavim še pedagoški del, ki je nastal v okviru prakse, kjer sem izvajala pouk likovne umetnosti na Gimnaziji Ledina.

Secondary title: The role of the density in artistic articulation
Secondary abstract: This work is directed to the basic elements of theory of art, specifically to the articulation of the artistic variable density and other fields that refer to it. Quantity, density and texture are interdependant artictic variables and because of their relationship I analized all three of them. In the main part of thesis I focused on analizing specific works of different fine areas by different artists. In the analysis I define optic facts and describe the viewers experience and mofological potential of variables quantity, density and texture. As an interesting detail, I included the features of the minimalism art movement, where the density is explicitly exhibited. Additionaly, I connected the theoretical part of this work with the educational and practical experience, while teaching the art classes in Gimnasium Ledina.
