Abstract

Slovenija je reliefno zelo razgibana pokrajina. Prav tako je neenakomerno porazdeljena količina padavin. Obravnavano območje hudournika Gereš se nahaja v severno-vzhodnem delu Slovenije, ki je precej gorato in lahko prejme letno tudi 3000 mm padavin. To je razlog za veliko število hudourniških območji, ki povzročajo veliko nevšečnosti v tem delu države. V diplomski nalogi sem se osredotočil na kritičen odsek hudournika, kjer voda prestopi brežine in ogroža bližnje stanovanjske objekte. Za ta odsek sem na podlagi empiričnih enačb ocenil velikost odtoka iz prispevnega območja, ki sem ga določil s pomočjo programa SAGA-GIS. Za hudournik sem opravil pregled stanja struge ter predlagal idejno zasnovo protipoplavne ureditve.

Secondary abstract: Slovenia has a very diverse relief. It has also unevenly distributed rainfall. The area of torrent Gereš is located in north-western Slovenia, which is quite hilly and may receive an annual rainfall up to 3000 mm. That is the reason for a lot of torrential areas causing many troubles in that part of country. In this thesis, I have focused on the critical section of the torrent, where water cross the embankments and endanger nearby residential buildings. On the basis of empirical equations I have estimated the runoff from the catchment area, which I have determined with the help of program SAGA-GIS.I have made a review of the channel and proposed a concept of flood-protection regulation.
