Abstract

V magistrskem delu opisujemo izvedbo aplikacije, ki omogoča prikazovanje obogatene resničnosti na mobilnem telefonu z operacijskim sistemom Android. Realistično prikazovanje navidezne scene v video posnetkih z mobilne kamere omogočamo s pomočjo vizualnih značk ter s pomočjo žiroskopa naprave. V prvem delu magistrskega dela opišemo izvedbo zaznave značk ter delovanje aplikacije. Nato predstavimo rezultate testiranja delovanja aplikacije na mobilnih telefonih Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 in Samsung Galaxy S6. Rezultati testiranja z različnimi scenami dokazujejo dobro odzivnost razvite aplikacije in zanimivo uporabniško izkušnjo.

Secondary abstract: In this thesis, we describe implementation of augmented reality application on a mobile device with Android operating system. The positioning of a virtual scene into video stream from mobile camera is implemented with the help of visual markers and mobile phone's gyroscope. In the first part od the thesis, we describe implementation of different maker detection steps, built into assesment of virtual scene perspective on the mobile phone's screen. In the second part, we present the results of tests performed on Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy S6 mobile phones. The results of our tests demontrat sufficient reponsiveness of our application.
